Avenue MIPS is a lightweight and high-quality cycling helmet that combines safety, comfort and ventilation for both everyday rides and training. It features integrated MIPS® technology that provides additional protection in the event of a collision by reducing rotational forces on the brain. The construction is based on a Fusion In-Mold polycarbonate shell with 18 ventilation channels ensuring excellent airflow during rides. The fit is easily adjusted with Ergo Fit™, a compact and user-friendly system integrated with MIPS. This system keeps the straps correctly positioned and allows one-handed adjustment. No-Twist Tri-Glides™ ensure the straps stay flat and untwisted, making the helmet easy to fine-tune. The helmet weighs only 300 grams in size U and is certified according to both CPSC Bicycle and CE EN1078. MIPS® – Multi-directional Impact Protection System – allows the inner and outer layers of the helmet to move relative to each other during an impact, reducing the risk of serious brain injury. Tests show that the technology significantly decreases rotational forces. Like all helmets, Avenue MIPS should be replaced after an accident or any external impact.
